Our House

Sorry it's taken me so long to post pictures of our new place....here are a bunch..Enjoy!! The house is still a work in progress... we still need to paint and a few rooms still need more furniture...but we absolutely love it! We are having such a great time! You can't really tell from the pictures, but the house gets a ton of natural light.

Our 1950s kitchen. I wasn't thrilled with it at first, but its now one of my favorite rooms. Its a tiny little kitchen, but has tall cupboards which actually fit all of my dishes!

Below: family room...we really love this room- it has great vaulted ceilings and (3) large windows with plantation shutters. Jake was very happy to have a place to display one of his boards.

we are very happy to have a fireplace...can't wait to hang our stocking at Christmas time!

Living room...well this room is still a work in progress! We don't have enough furniture yet to fill it...we would eventually like to add a loveseat and a coffee table.

The backyard...we love it! It's been a great space to entertain & Jake really enjoys having the garage in the backyard.

The neighborhood....one of my favorite parts of our city are the trees! Our neighborhood has tons of trees that form a canopy over some areas of the street. The tree below is on the street next to ours, but I love Jacaranda trees so I thought I would include a pic..

Blake's Last Game

Well another baseball season has come to a close. We had such a great time on this team! This was Blake's first year w/ the older players and he did very well. Our Red Sox finished 1st this season! Hooray! Blake was very excited to add to his trophy collection last night. He had a great game...even hit a home run! Well on to all-stars now! More pictures to come soon :)

Rob's 21st Birthday

Well I guess I'm WAY behind on my posts...finally here are some pics from Rob's 21st birthday in April. We had a themed party at our place as you can tell from some of the pics....such a great time! Happy 21st Rob!!!

Mackenzie is Eleven!!!

I cannot believe that my baby is eleven years old! Time seriously is going by way too fast.

Last night we took Mackenzie to Joe's Crab Shack to celebrate her birthday. We had such a fun time! I think Joe's may become a Brown tradition - the staff made Mackenzie dress in a bee costume and she had to "buzz" around the restaurant while everyone sang Happy Birthday to her! She was a good sport - and wasn't too embarrassed!

Mackenzie has always been such a sweetheart and the past 11 years she has brought us much joy and laughter.

My sister-in-law Allison just sent me a few pictures she took on Easter & I had to include the pictures of the adults - which this word is used loosely with Andy & Jacob (see below)!

Easter

Since the weather was so nice outside we decided to enjoy our Easter lunch outside. Andy & Allison came over for lunch and Ryan stopped by later for a fun afternoon of games. We really had a great time. Unfortunately I don't have many pictures of the the kids where they are both smiling - so this is the best of the best :) The kids enjoyed an egg hunt in our new place & were given the movie of the year - High School Musical 3 - of course - in their Easter baskets along with a few other goodies. Hope everyone had a great Easter!
